Young Professionals Israel continues a great tradition of organising the most attractive events as a part of IEEE COMCAS conference. This time Young Professionals go Automotive, bringing you a YP in Automotive event. If you are interested in this fascinating field of industry and research and if you want to meet the automotive industry leaders and discuss with them the most relevant automotive developments, you surely need to attend the YP in Automotive. Omer Keilaf serves as the co-founder and CEO of Innoviz Technologies, a leading provider of LiDAR sensing solutions designed to enable the mass commercialization of autonomous vehicles. Prior to co-founding Innoviz, Omer served as an officer in an elite technological unit of the Intelligence Corps of the Israel Defense Forces, before going on to a distinguished career in opto-mechanics, electrical engineering, MEMS and more. He held senior leadership roles at companies including Consumer Physics and STMicroelectronics, where he served as the System and Product Team Manager, R&D manager, and Project Manager and System Architecture Manager, respectively. He holds a BSc and MSc in Electrical Engineering and an MBA, all from Tel Aviv University.

CTO and Co-founder of Arbe. Noam has over 10 years of experience in R&D and holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the Robotics Lab at Weizmann Institute of Science. Prior to Arbe, Noam has led the algorithm development at Taptica and the Space IL control system. Since founding Arbe in 2015, Noam and his team have been developing a proprietary high-resolution radar, a revolutionary sensor capable of unlocking level 3 and higher autonomous driving.

Avi Bakal, founder and CEO of TriEye has achieved a mass-scale technological breakthrough in record time, creating a giant leap in ADAS and AV safety, reliability, and functionality. Avi is an experienced multidisciplinary Physicist and Electrical-Engineer. He has a BSc in Computer Science and Electrical-Engineering and an MSc in Applied Physics specializing in optics and lasers. Avi served in a special Israeli Air-Force unit as a combat commander. Additionally, he published two articles in distinguished scientific journals and was highlighted in Nature Science Journal. He established a voluntary activity with over 100 volunteers to make the world a better place.

Orr has over a decade of experience working at leading IDF Technological Unit. During this time led some of the largest and most complex interdisciplinary projects in the Israeli intelligence community. Orr has received for the projects he developed and managed the Israel Defense Award from the president of Israel and the Creative Thinking Award from the Head of the Military Intelligence.

Orr holds a B.Sc., Physics & Mathematics from the Hebrew University as part of the ”Talpiot” program and an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (cum laude) from Tel Aviv University.
